Buy Godzilla Japanese Painted Fern online. Sharing the name of the infamous lizard titan, ‘Godzilla’ is just as enormous and awe inspiring as its namesake. This is a Japanese Painted Fern on steroids, and this giant was discovered in the mid-90s and is thought to be a sporeling of Japanese Painted and the Lady Fern. It forms a massive, arching clump of silvery fronds with green highlights and dark purple stems. Like the Lady Fern, ‘Godzilla’ spreads slowly where it is happiest in moist, loamy soils.
